Why you need to have your tank tested annually

Annual tests are completed to meet Australian Standards and are for your personal safety while diving.

Regular testing ensures your tanks are fit for use.

During testing, tanks are inspected internally and externally.

Steel tanks with internal rust are rumbled to re-polish to cylinder walls.

Never fully empty your tank - did you know that maintaining a small amount of pressure in your tank or cylinder will ensure moisture doesn't accumulate and degrade your tank interior.

If you have a BCF extinguisher or know someone who has one, hand it in to our office and we can help you select a suitable replacement.

Beware of buying a used vehicle on LPG without a roadworthy, include in your pre-purchase checks to make sure the gas tank has been certified within the last 10 years.

In the event of an emergency be a fire or blackout, your exit light will lead you to safety.

Since 1997, Victorian law regulates that smoke detectors must be installed in all homes, units, flats and townhouses. It is the responsibility of all owners and landlords to install working smoke alarms and to keep them functional and compliant with Australian Standards AS3786. Residential homes constructed or substantially renovated after August 1997 must have a smoke alarm connected to 240 volt mains power, and where installed they must also have a backup battery in case there is a loss of power.
